Bring the computer in by appointment
Drop-off service lets us investigate the computer directly. Bring the laptop power adapter, and tell us if you are also worried about files or an account that may have been accessed.
You do not need to find a model number just to ask about virus removal. Describe the symptoms first. If you cannot disconnect or transport your computer, ask about premium pickup and delivery.

Questions before you get started
Can you tell if it is a virus just from a pop-up?
We need to hear what is happening and may need to inspect the computer. A pop-up can have several causes, so we do not treat a brief description as a confirmed diagnosis.
Can you recover files if my computer will not start?
Yes, we offer data recovery assessment for Mac and PC. Recovery depends on the condition of the drive; physically damaged or inaccessible media may be beyond what we can recover.
